38 oz asparagus, green, woody ends discarded, cut into pieces (approx. 1 in.), divided
2 garlic cloves, divided
2 tsp sugar
2 oz onions, cut into pieces (1 small onion)
3 ½ oz unsalted butter, cut into pieces, divided
5 oz potatoes, cut into pieces
3 ½ oz spinach leaves, frozen, thawed and drained
14 oz water
1 vegetable stock cube, crumbled
1 pinch ground nutmeg
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 oz pine nuts
1 fresh red chili, deseeded, chopped
5 oz heavy whipping cream
